1. SG regularly holds a formal ball

A whole range of cultural and social activities are an integral part of life at 1. SG, helping students develop good etiquette and social manners. Every year, at the start of the calendar year, a formal ball is held, dedicated mainly to fourth- and first-year students. As part of the ball, they take part in the formal ribbon and matriculation ceremony.

After an opening dance performance by students, the ball was opened with an introductory speech by the headmistress of 1. SG, Doc. Taťjana Pergler, Ph.D., and the chairman of the school's Board of Trustees, Mr. Tomáš Klapka, MA. During the evening of dancing, talented students of 1. SG took to the floor, and their dancing, singing, and other performances were a great success with the guests.

A pleasant surprise was the growing number of ball guests year after year.
