This policy describes how 1. Slovanské gymnázium processes the personal data of visitors to the slovgym.cz website and of people who contact us through our forms.

What data we process and why

  • Contact and registration forms (open day, enquiries, newsletter) — name, e-mail, and possibly telephone number. Used to deal with your enquiry or to send you information you have consented to receive.
  • Application for study — details from the application are forwarded to the school's admissions office by e-mail; we do not store them on the website.
  • Operational and technical data — necessary for the operation and security of the website. Details about cookies can be found in the Cookie Policy document.

Legal basis for processing

  • Consent — for the newsletter and marketing communications; it can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Steps taken prior to entering into a contract — for the study application.
  • Legitimate interest — for website security and protecting forms against misuse.

Recipients and processors

We use vetted processors for running the website and for communication:

  • Brevo — sending e-mails and managing contacts.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — protecting forms against spam.
  • Google Maps — displaying a map of the school's location.
  • Google (via Google Tag Manager) — anonymised traffic analytics, only with your consent.

We do not pass on personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention period

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the given purpose, or for as long as required by law. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until that consent is withdrawn.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw any consent given at any time. If you believe that the processing breaches the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
