LATIN DAY, or Two Events in One Day
Alongside Schola Pragensis, we're also keeping up with other activities. On Thursday, 28 November, we took part in Latin Day at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. This event presented Latin as a gateway to many scholarly fields and showed that studying Latin at secondary schools is a traditional discipline that contributes significantly to understanding our history. We attended plenty of interesting lectures, such as “Natural Disasters and Strange Phenomena in the History of Rome” or “Natural Disasters and Strange Phenomena in the History of Rome”.
