Mock Maturita Exam
Even before the 4th-year grading period closed, its students once again took the traditional opportunity to try out the specialized part of their maturita (school-leaving) exam in front of a committee made up, for now, only of the school's own teachers. Each 4th-year student went through the maturita exam process — drawing a topic, preparation, and the examination itself — just as they would face it for real from 20 May. The students were visibly nervous but also determined
Even before the 4th-year grading period closed, its students once again took the traditional opportunity to try out the specialized part of their maturita (school-leaving) exam in front of a committee made up, for now, only of the school's own teachers. Each 4th-year student went through the maturita exam process — drawing a topic, preparation, and the examination itself — just as they would face it for real from 20 May. The students were visibly nervous but also determined to prepare well for the oral part of the exam. The students rated the whole activity very positively, since it prepared them, at least psychologically, for the future “real” oral part of the maturita exam.
