Project for International Migrants Day

At a time of emerging global security challenges and social transformation, together with a group of our students we reflected on the significance of migration and the consequences of living beyond our own borders and cultures.

On the occasion of International Migrants Day 2023 we remembered, on Monday, 18 December, all those who, for various reasons, leave their homeland and set off toward new horizons in search of a better future for themselves and their families. We became aware of just how great a difference there is between being a migrant, a refugee, or a displaced person.

We have been migrants, we are migrants, and in this world we will forever be, more than anything else, travelers. It is part of our history and our genes, part of the heritage of humankind.
