Masters of the Renaissance

Part of the content of Aesthetic Education classes is getting to know the individual artistic movements, their representatives, and important works. The exhibition currently underway allowed for a rare encounter with works whose originals we would otherwise have to travel across Europe to see. Full-size reproductions of Renaissance masters, created using the latest technology, offered a visual visit to the Paris Louvre, Florence, the Sistine Chapel in Rome, the Prado in Madrid, the galleries of Kraków and Dresden, and other places.

The aim of the exhibition is to show, describe, and find connections, and to communicate. In the discussion that followed, we and the students highlighted our personal impressions and insights, which we continued to work with during regular classes at school.

We looked in detail, in direct comparison, at magnificent works of art by world-famous artists, reflected on them and their creators, and appreciated the concise, clear audio information provided for each piece.
