Our student Tereza Mikovcová is headed to the prestigious Imperial College London

We are immensely proud to have exceptional students among us. One of them is precisely Tereza Mikovcová, whose journey is an inspiration to all of us.

From her very first year, Tereza stood out as an exceptionally talented student with a strong interest in the natural sciences, especially biochemistry and microbiology.

At the age of sixteen, she even completed a professional internship in the laboratory of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where she took part in real scientific research.

But her journey didn't end there – she also went abroad, specifically to the Biozentrum in Switzerland and the Institut Laue-Langevin in France.

For her perseverance and determination, she was accepted in 2025 to one of the most prestigious universities in the world – Imperial College London, where she will study microbiology.

Tereza's story proves that with passion, courage, and the support of those around you, anything is possible.
