A Visit to the Deník N Editorial Office

On 13 February, as part of the Political Science class, the students of 3.A, accompanied by the headmistress and teacher Ing. Kristýna Zelienková, went on a visit and debate at the editorial office of Deník N. The central topic of the discussion with the foreign correspondent, holder of a whole series of journalism awards and the Medal of Merit, Ms Petra Procházková, which ran twice as long as the originally planned half hour, was working with information and its sources, especially in the world of online and social media. Besides that, the students soaked up the atmosphere and learned about the organization and workings of the editorial office of one of the country's most prestigious daily papers.

So are we looking here at a future star of Czech, or even world, journalism?
