French Language Olympiad
On 11 December, our school held a battle for the title of best French speaker! Students tested their language skills in two categories – SŠ and SŠ+ – and showed that French is by no means foreign to them. Each participant had to hold their own in a five-minute conversation and then manage a picture description, which tested not only their vocabulary but also their quick thinking and ability to improvise.

From 1st places advance to the regional round: Ela Šnebergová and Adéla Gregerová, while Julie Polášková and Eric Levinský are on standby as reserves.
The award ceremony took place on 29 January, when the headmistress, doc. T. Pergler, personally handed out diplomas and praise, and wished those advancing good luck in the next round.
