Online instruction

Dear students, dear parents,

At 1. Slovanské gymnázium we are teaching what's known as remotely — we've chosen the form of online instruction via the Office 365 Teams program. At the same time, we communicate with students and their parents through the school's Bakaláři system and email.

In-person instruction was suspended from Wednesday, 11 March 2020, until further notice, based on the extraordinary measures declared by the Government of the Czech Republic closing the school building to students, parents, and the public.

This extraordinary situation is a challenge for us. We see it as an opportunity for our students to try taking responsibility for their own education, of course with their parents' support. At the same time, we teachers also did our best to adapt to the new conditions and requirements, and we very quickly learned to work with the new online teaching program.

We managed it together, and we've moved our school many steps forward.
