Entrance examinations – addendum

Under the Measure of a General Nature dated 7 May 2021, the following is added:

An applicant who was to take both terms of the unified entrance examination at one school and did not take one of the terms may take that examination in the substitute term regardless of the reason for not taking it in the regular term, provided they confirm to the headteacher of the school where they were to take both terms of the unified entrance examination, by 14 May 2021, that they will take this examination in the substitute term. An applicant who has duly excused themselves and already has, or will gain, the right to take the examination in the substitute term does not need to confirm taking the examination in the substitute term.

In the 2020/2021 school year, an applicant may withdraw the enrolment slip submitted in the admissions procedure if they were subsequently admitted to secondary education in the first round of the admissions procedure after taking the entrance examination in the substitute term.
