SlovGym's representatives stay red-hot

Following the French students' winning streak, we report another success on the field of inter-school intellectual contests.

The III.A student Tereza Mikovcová achieved this with 1st place in the regional round of the Secondary School Professional Activity competition in the field of Molecular Biology with a paper titled Preparing crystals suitable for neutron structural analysis from Sn1 and S1 nucleases. The consultant was Prof. Petr Kolenko from ČVUT (Czech Technical University); the work contributes to the foundations of protein design for new medicines.
