Chess Battle at 1.SG
On Monday 19 June, the home classroom of II.B became the venue for the first annual Chess Cup of 1. Slovanské gymnázium. We witnessed a number of dramatic clashes, and the overall level of play was unexpectedly high. We thank the Czech Chess Federation's representative, Mr Hás, for overseeing the fairness of the contest, Mrs Bojová and Mrs Lukavská for the organization, and all participants for the experience.
