School round of the English language competition

Due to great student interest, this year's school round of the English language competition ended up taking place on two dates. Based on scoring, the teachers selected the 10 best students, who took part in the final school round. The finalists were prepared not only with conversation questions but also advanced grammar.

The following students advanced to the final round: Simon E. 3.A, Linh N. 1.A, Sean K. 2.B, Anežka Č. 3.A, Elizabeth Z. 1.C, Karolina K. 1.A, Anna-Julie Le G. 2.A, Monika D. 1.A, Polina B. 3.A and Šimon S. 3.C.

The two winners with the highest scores are: Polina B. 3.A and Šimon S. 3.C. The runner-up was Anna-Julie Le G..

Polina and Šimon advance to the district round of the competition. Due to the pandemic, everything will take place online.

The students in the school round were assessed by a three-member jury made up of teachers Hana Chelberg, Anna Vyhnálková and Griffen Rice.
