Preparatory courses
The long-term Mathematics and Czech Language course will prepare Year 9 pupils for the CERMAT unified entrance examination for four-year grammar schools, which takes place on 9 and 12 April 2027. The courses are led by experienced grammar school teachers and take place in person at the school building at Na Příkopě 850/8, Praha 1.
You can choose complete preparation in both subjects, or a standalone Mathematics or Czech Language course. Lessons take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, or on Saturday mornings.

Who are the courses for?
For Year 9 pupils applying to four-year grammar schools and secondary schools who face the CERMAT unified entrance examination.
Can I sign up for just one subject?
Yes. In addition to the complete course, we offer a standalone Mathematics course (24 lessons, 9 700 Kč) and a Czech Language course (24 lessons, 9 700 Kč).
How do the lessons work?
Each lesson lasts 90 minutes. In Mathematics, we work through two sample tests in each lesson and set one as homework; in Czech, we work with model tests and practise problem-solving strategy and time management.
When do the courses not take place?
During the autumn half-term (29–30 October 2026), the Christmas holidays (23 December 2026 – 3 January 2027), and the spring half-term (22–28 February 2027).
Is there a discount?
Yes — if you register by 15 September 2026, you'll receive a 15% discount on the complete Mathematics and Czech Language course: 16 500 Kč instead of 19 400 Kč.
