Bankers into Schools advised first-years on internet safety
During the Bankers into Schools lecture, students of 1.A and 1.B learned how to protect their personal data and money, and how to spot an internet scam.

How can you protect your personal and financial information and spot an internet scam? Students of classes 1.A and 1.B explored these questions on 21 October during a lecture organised as part of the Bankers into Schools project.
The session introduced the basics of banking with a focus on cybersecurity and the safe use of online banking. Through questions and group discussion, students engaged with the topic and learned about the risks they may encounter in the online environment.
From the lecture, they came away with practical advice for protecting their personal data and money. The programme thus combined financial and digital literacy with everyday life situations, making it a fitting activity for European Cybersecurity Month.
