New DVPP courses!

We would like to inform you that our gymnázium has obtained accreditation to run DVPP courses (continuing education for teaching staff).

Courses currently on offer:

1. Russian for teachers of primary and secondary schools.

2. English – engaging and effective

Educational programmes for teachers of primary and secondary schools

The language school offers language methodology courses in Russian and English for teaching staff with a language level of at least B2 CEFR.

The courses are designed to deepen teachers' professional qualifications in activating and motivating teaching methods that combine a classic systematic approach to providing the basics of correct phonetics and grammar with topics of interest to pupils and students.

One of the aims is to deepen the professional qualifications of primary and secondary school teachers in the language knowledge they already teach.

The aim is also to introduce teachers to modern language-teaching methods that support the integration of all types of language skills for pupils and students: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The courses will take place in a classroom of 1. Slovanské gymnázium and language school with the right to hold the state language examination, which is fully equipped with computers with sound, audiovisual aids (data projector, audio and video recorders), a whiteboard, etc. The minimum number of participants is 5.

The courses run for 8 hours, and completion of the course means attendance of the course. Once all requirements are met, graduates receive a certificate of completion of a lifelong learning course in accordance with Section 10 of Decree No. 317/2005 Coll., on the continuing education of teaching staff, the accreditation commission and the career system for teaching staff, as amended.

Russian for teachers of primary and secondary schools: course duration is 8 hours (can be split into 4 + 4 hours by agreement). Dates: 17 April and 24 April 2021, 7 May and 14 May 2021, 4 June and 11 June 2021, 21 August and 28 August 2021, from 8:30 to 17:00 (30-min. break)

English – engaging and effective: course duration is 8 hours (can be split into 4 + 4 hours by agreement). Dates: 17 April and 24 April 2021, 21 May and 28 May 2021, 5 June and 12 June 2021, 20 August and 27 August 2021, from 8:30 to 17:00 (30-min. break)

Course fee: CZK 2,650 per person
