By an MŠMT measure dated 15 December 2020, 21 and 22 December 2020 were designated as days off for pupils and students of primary schools, secondary schools, conservatories, and elementary art schools. This extends students' Christmas holidays, and we'll see you in the new year.
Thanks to feedback from our students and their parents, we know that distance learning suited a large proportion of them, and we're pleased with your satisfaction. However, following the MŠMT's announcement, from Monday, 7 December, we're switching to in-person instruction in a rotating regime, and so after two months we'll be welcoming some of our students back to school. According to the Minister of Education, on Wednesday, 25 November, we can once again welcome fourth-year students back to school and return to in-person instruction. Timetables have been uploaded to Bakaláři; other classes continue with distance learning.
Despite the unfavorable situation, we're here for you, and we've prepared an Open Day for you. The Open Day will take place on Thursday, 15 October, from 8:00 to 18:00. From Monday, 5 October 2020, in connection with a government order, 1SG will be closed to students and the school will switch to distance learning. Instruction will be provided as follows: Instruction for students in full-time education will follow an adjusted timetable for each class. Students and their legal guardians will be informed via the Bakaláři system and emails from class teachers about which lessons

Dear students, dear parents, we warmly invite you to the start of the school year on 1 September during the first lesson, i.e. 8:15. We ask students to arrive a little early. We have lots of news in store for you — there's plenty to look forward to.
Working together with our proactive students, we're cooking up big things for you… We're preparing lots of news for the new school year.
And what are our lovely students up to over the holidays? You can see for yourself in the following photos — they're taking trips, doing summer jobs, visiting interesting places… Even during the holidays, we don't stop staying in touch with our students.
The ceremonial presentation of maturita certificates to our graduates took place in the beautiful setting of the Old Town Hall.

The headmistress of the gymnázium has announced the 2nd round of the school's own entrance exams (English language, general knowledge, interview in Czech and English), which will take place on 24 June 2020. Registration takes place by submitting a properly completed application form to our school's office. You can do so every day from 8:00 to 16:00.
