The ceremonial presentation of maturita certificates to our graduates took place in the beautiful setting of the Old Town Hall.
2_Round_Ranking of applicants by evaluation result
The headmistress of the gymnázium has announced the 2nd round of the school's own entrance exams (English language, general knowledge, interview in Czech and English), which will take place on 24 June 2020. Registration takes place by submitting a properly completed application form to our school's office. You can do so every day from 8:00 to 16:00.

Today we began the oral maturita exams. Our students are making us proud with their perfect preparation.
The entrance exam for our gymnázium consisted of: the unified entrance exam (Czech Language and Literature, and Mathematics) the school's own entrance exam (a written test in English, a written general-knowledge test, an interview in Czech and English, and an assessment of prior education) After the entrance exams, we're preparing for the oral maturita exams, which begin on Monday, 15 June 2020.
During the coronavirus period, 3rd-year students at 1SG focused on the regions of the Czech Republic as part of a semester project in geography. They created promotional materials for the individual regions of the Czech Republic.

The most common question from parents of our prospective students — Where do your graduates go on to study? We're a gymnázium of international character, and our students are scattered all over the world. One example is fourth-year student Daniel Šichov, who was accepted to a university in London — specifically Middlesex University London, in Advertising, PR and Branding. He just needs to pass his maturita with an average
