We are honoured that our teacher, who teaches aesthetics, Mgr. Jana Stránská, is one of the exhibitors at the UNIVERSUM exhibition of visual arts teachers, and her work caught so much attention that it now graces the cover of the bulletin.

As part of aesthetics class, students were given a simple task: to listen closely to the tones of one of Johann Sebastian Bach's classic pieces and to express, in any artistic form, the feelings the piece evokes in them or the memories it brings to mind. Helpless but not hopeless Life for Prague's homeless community is hard, but there are ways to help. Several organizations provide goods and services to help improve the situation facing homeless people, and schemes are being introduced to allow people to help through donations. On 16 November, our ten-member team took part in a futsal tournament held in Ruzyně as part of the Secondary School Futsal League. The 1. Slovanské gymnázium team held on to second place and advanced to the next rounds of the competition.
