In connection with the State Security Council's order of 10 March 2020 on the closure of primary and secondary schools, the headmistress of 1. Slovanské gymnázium, doc. Taťjana Pergler, Ph.D., sets the deadlines for completing outstanding grading for the first half of the 2019/2020 school year as 30 April 2020.

We were pleasantly surprised by the young gentlemen from 3.B, who on their own initiative handed out roses to all the women at 1SG today. Young men today don't observe International Women's Day the way they used to, so this event was a pleasant change of pace on our Friday school day.
Students of 2.C made miniature fruit, vegetables, and other foods out of modeling clay during art appreciation classes. They then came up with the idea themselves of donating the toys to children at the Masná kindergarten next door to the gymnázium. We see Valentine's Day as a celebration of love — whether for a friend, a partner, a favorite teacher, or a staff member at our gymnázium. This year, for the first time, we spent almost two weeks collecting Valentine's messages, which we handed out to their recipients today. There was great interest in the event, and the messages brought a smile to the recipients' faces.
Representatives of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (ČZU) presented study programs and study-abroad opportunities today in our gymnázium's auditorium.
