On Friday 3 May 2024, the Gymnázium's students who make up the school radio team “SlovRadio” were invited to the premises of Radio Prague International. As part of aesthetic education classes, students get acquainted in various ways with selected chapters of the history of fine art. Led by PhDr. Jaroslav Sojka, Ph.D., a full-day study trip to enchanting Vienna took place on Tuesday 19 March. This first encounter with history and art was magnificent. The graduation ball of 1. Slovanské gymnázium and language school became a highlight of the ball season. On Wednesday 28 March 2024, Prof. Václav Klaus visited 1. Slovanské gymnázium and its language school. In a packed assembly hall, he took part in an open discussion with our students and members of the teaching staff. The topic was the synergy of political science and economics. Thought-provoking questions, professional expertise and human empathy created a wonderful, creative atmosphere.
On 14 February, under the auspices of French teachers MUDr. Bojová and Mgr. Lukavská, the school round of the French Olympiad took place. The following Friday, the most successful students met with the school management to receive diplomas and small prizes.
