Led by PhDr. Jaroslav Sojka, Ph.D., a full-day study trip to enchanting Vienna took place on Tuesday 19 March. This first encounter with history and art was magnificent. Our series of meetings with interesting personalities in the assembly hall continues. On Thursday 14 March, we will welcome doc. Michal Téra, and the concept of Slavdom will take over the Gymnázium's great lecture hall. Then, on 4 April, we return once again, after a while, to the field of medicine with Dr. Petanová.

The graduation ball of 1. Slovanské gymnázium and language school became a highlight of the ball season. On 25 February, the Great Hall of Prague's Lucerna came alive with a union of youth and beauty. First-years full of anticipation for the ribbon ceremony, fourth-years enjoying their opening dance and the ceremonial procession before the sash-giving, the school management and proud teachers, but also proud parents, relatives, friends and companions. On Wednesday 28 March 2024, Prof. Václav Klaus visited 1. Slovanské gymnázium and its language school. In a packed assembly hall, he took part in an open discussion with our students and members of the teaching staff. The topic was the synergy of political science and economics. Thought-provoking questions, professional expertise and human empathy created a wonderful, creative atmosphere.
On 14 February, under the auspices of French teachers MUDr. Bojová and Mgr. Lukavská, the school round of the French Olympiad took place. The following Friday, the most successful students met with the school management to receive diplomas and small prizes. The SŠ+ category was won by Ela Šnebergová from the 2nd year, while in the SŠ category, another 2nd-year student continued last year's success, Aneta Dömeová. Second place

On Tuesday, 12 December, a very special visitor arrived at Masná in the form of the Mexican writer Laura Elena Rodríguez. The plan was to meet with two groups of Spanish-language students.
